About  this project

Lounge

The brief was for a young family who had just purchased a new build within Northumberland. For the lounge we were asked to add a range of textures and tones to the room but to keep it fresh welcoming. One of the main colours we used was Grey, we had an accent chair we were using for the colour pallet, by adding different tones of grey and minimal pattern we were able to create a simple but elegant look to the room. We complimented the textures in the fabrics by creating a textured featured wall using Omexco wallpaper.

Kitchen/ Dining area:

We wanted the rooms in the house to flow from one to another. Therefore we considered the textures and tones we used in the lounge to flow in to the kitchen. The client has a bay patio door area which they wanted to increase privacy but not take away the light. We suggested to run wave voiles here which dressed the bay softly. The use of the light weighted fabric still lets enough light into the room without blocking the light however with still providing privacy.

If you’ve got the space or time. Please contact us to schedule a cup of coffee.
